How we’re working towards a more sustainable future

Making a

lasting impact

From the very beginning, 75Media has been working towards a sustainable future. In 2021, we began our strategic partnership with the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust (YDMT), a charity that is helping us deliver practical projects that are making a significant difference to the people, landscape and wildlife of the Yorkshire Dales.

As 75Media continues to grow, our mission to become a more sustainable and socially conscious company, also grows. To do this, we are proud to be aligning our ESG plans with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, a global plan to end poverty, extreme inequality, and climate change by 2030.

Our strategic goals

As a company, we have identified four goals that we believe we can make the most significant impact towards.

The Global Goals - Goal 3 - Good Health & Well-being
We commit to promoting good health and wellbeing in our own workforce and society.
The Global Goals - Goal 8 - Decent Work and Economic Growth
We commit to safe working conditions, an inclusive workspace, and fair pay within our business and supply chain.
The Global Goals - Goal 12 - Responsible Consumption & Production

We will practice responsible consumption and production and commit to reducing waste generation throughout our operations.

The Global Goals - Goal 13 - Climate Action
We commit to keeping global warming below 1.5 degrees Celsius and reduce our carbon footprint in-line with science.

In order to reach each of these goals, we have committed to a carefully, considered and realistic set of targets that we will deliver against over the coming years.

Our long-term

partnership with

YDMT

Our support for YDMT is set to continue growing. By working together, we are helping to put people at the heart of nature recovery in the Yorkshire Dales and so far we are proud to have helped:

  • 15 vulnerable people access nature in the Dales
  • Plant 825 trees, capturing an estimated 140 tonnes of carbon over the next 50 years
  • Restore 0.5 hectares of wildflower meadows

The nature restoration work YDMT does is vital: trees help combat climate change, reduce flooding and CO2 emissions and they also provide homes for wildlife.
