Our partnership with Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust

Making a lasting impact across the Yorkshire Dales and beyond

Making a lasting impact.

As a business that deals in paper, mitigating the impact that our operations have on the environment is an important focus for us.

Never before has the need to support the work of environmental organisations been so great and so we are thrilled to be working with Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust (YDMT) as our charity partner, who will help us deliver practical projects that will make a significant difference to the people, landscape and wildlife of the Yorkshire Dales.

Over the next three years – as we step up our mission to become a more sustainable and climate conscious company – 75Media will undertake to plant 200 trees a year as well as provide opportunities for 60 disadvantaged or young people to connect with nature.

The lay of the land.

Currently, native tree cover in the Yorkshire Dales is the lowest of all national parks so it is very clear that our support is vital: trees help combat climate change, reduce flooding and CO2 emissions, and also provide homes for our wildlife. Trees are great for our own health and well-being too!

It is hoped that our three year commitment to YDMT will offset an estimated 99 tonnes of carbon and improve the habitats of a wide range of species too.

So not only will your billboard booking boost your brand, it will also be putting roots in the ground that will directly help to improve our wildlife and landscapes for future generations.

Our support for the programme isn’t just about donations though. At various points in the planting calendar, the 75Media team will roll up their sleeves, pull on their wellies and head up into the Dales to plant young trees and help with woodland maintenance.
